We have kept to courses that work as a day out from Gdańsk. There are other clubs in northern Poland, such as Binowo Park near Szczecin, but at well over four hours' drive they belong to a different trip.
Tokary Golf Club: closest to the airport
Tokary opened in 2001 in the gmina of Przodkowo, on the edge of the hilly, wooded area known as Kashubian Switzerland. The club describes itself as 15 km from Gdańsk Airport; by our measurement it is about 10 km by road, so 15 to 20 minutes. The 18-hole course covers 65 hectares and the terrain is genuinely up and down, which makes it more demanding than its size suggests. Its signature is what the club calls the only par 6 in Poland, a 540-metre hole. There is also a driving range, a 3-hole academy course and a restaurant.
Tokary's 2026 green fees for individual visitors are 210 zł for 9 holes and 295 zł for 18 holes on weekdays, and 260 zł and 395 zł at weekends. Juniors up to 20 pay 110 and 150 zł on weekdays. Monday and Wednesday have a special 18-hole rate of 240 zł, Monday is ladies' day, and from 1 May to 30 September a weekend round starting after 15:00 is 250 zł. Hire clubs are 40 zł a bag. The clubhouse is open 9:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and 8:00 to 21:00 at weekends, and tee times must be booked in advance.

Postołowo: Gdańsk Golf & Country Club
The course at Postołowo, 28 km south of Gdańsk in the Kashubian lake district, dates from 1990. It was designed by the British architect Jeremy Turner, is built to USGA standards and covers more than 100 hectares around a large lake.
It has a reputation, and it advertises it: German magazine Golf Journal called it "the Monster" in 2004, and from the back tees it plays to 7,101 metres. From the white tees the club gives a slope rating of 155 and a course rating of 78.8. Mortals play shorter: 6,194 m from the yellow tees (for handicaps under 9), 5,818 m from the blue and 5,071 m from the red. There is also a 6-hole par-20 academy course and footgolf.
The club's 2026 price page lists a green-fee range of 295 to 590 zł; the exact rate depends on the day and package, and juniors under 18 and students under 25 get 50% off with ID. Importantly, the club states that on the par-72 course a current handicap card is required, or you play with a Pro. The club lists daily hours of 8:00 to 18:00. Sierra Golf Resort: Wejherowo
Sierra is at Pętkowice near Wejherowo, north-west of Gdynia, and has been running for more than twenty years. It is a full resort, with a hotel, bungalows, restaurant and spa, so it suits golfers who want to stay on site rather than drive out each day. The course is 18 holes, par 72, with a driving range, putting greens and a golf academy.
Sierra publishes its single-entry rates for the 2026 season in złoty and euro: 18 holes 390 zł (€90) Monday to Thursday and 490 zł (€110) Friday to Sunday; 9 holes 270 zł (€60) and 310 zł (€70). After 16:00 from Monday to Thursday there is 15% off. Tee times are booked through the club's online system. From the Old Town allow about an hour.
Sand Valley Golf Resort: Pasłęk
Sand Valley lies near Pasłęk, just over the regional border in Warmia-Masuria, south-east of Elbląg. It has an 18-hole, par-72 championship course and a 6-hole academy course, and the resort has apartments and villas for stay-and-play trips. The club describes its course as the best 18-hole course in Poland and one of Europe's top 100; we have not ranked courses ourselves.
The 2026 price list on the club's site gives 389 zł for 18 holes Monday to Thursday, 479 zł at weekends and 190 zł on Wednesdays; juniors under 18 pay 190 zł. A buggy is 190 zł for 18 holes and a set of hire clubs 120 zł; the academy course is 49 zł. In October 2026 the club was also advertising an autumn green-fee promotion at 180 zł. It is the furthest of the four, about 78 km from the Old Town on the S7, so plan an hour or a little more each way. It combines naturally with Elbląg or Frombork; see our Frombork guide.
Booking tips, season and handicap rules
- Book tee times ahead. All four clubs take bookings; Tokary says plainly that a tee time must be reserved in advance.
- Bring proof of handicap. Postołowo requires a current handicap card on its main course. The others do not state a rule on their price pages, but carry your certificate or home club card anyway.
- Play midweek. Every club charges less on weekdays, and Sand Valley's Wednesday and Tokary's Monday and Wednesday rates are the best deals on the 2026 lists.
- Season. Treat April to October as the main season. Sierra's 2026 stay-and-play offers run from 15 March to 31 October. Tokary was still open for play in late October 2026 with greens being aerated on 21 October. In November and early spring, ring ahead.
How do I get to the golf courses with my clubs?
None of these courses is practical by public transport with a golf bag: Tokary and Postołowo are in the countryside, and Sierra and Sand Valley are well away from the nearest stations. Most visiting golfers hire a car or book a driver.
